Have you ever gone back and watched cartoons from when you were a kid? I’ve been going back and watching some old stuff that I had forgotten about. I’m kind of surprised at how good some of it is today.

And now back to this group. Yep, looks like Gundolf isn’t going to escort them the whole way. It would be kind of dangerous, what with the war and all, but if you want to throw your life into peril, go ahead.

No moral conundrums today. Just some info about the language: “Que vos esprits reposent en paix.” = May your souls/spirits rest in peace.

I just know that someone is going to put that through a translator and get ‘may your minds rest in peace’. Esprit is a word whose meaning changes depending on the context, it can mean spirit, soul, mind or even sanity depending on the words used around it and the context.

And now for some vampire statistics for 3 frequent causes of final death:

#1 – Violence. Vampires are a very violent people, expecially with each other.

#2 – Suicide. Some people just can’t handle the eternity and the blood sucking.

#3 – Cancer. Yep, cancer, they are still affected by it. Worst part is, it won’t actually kill them until it reaches their brain.

Dun dun DUUUUUUUUN!

A person stands at a cliff, they will commit suicide. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but someday. It’s inevitable. You offer, in exchange for something, to push them off the cliff. They comply. Now, have you just commited murder, or assisted suicide and does it matter morally?

These are general questions, but beware of general answers because I will try to call you out with specific situations. Protip: avoid using all-encompasing words such as never and always.

If you saw a person about to commit suicide, would you stop them, even if they hated you for it?

I started playing Xenoblade Chronicles a couple of weeks back (practically since launch, really). Fun game, interesting characters, intriguing story and world and beautiful music. I’m addicted to the music on the Plains of Gaur. Side quests are kind of overwhelming due to the sheer number of them though. ^^;

Finally got to the end of Mass Effect 3 (with 3 more characters, I am not finished). I enjoyed the game. Would and will play it again. The ending (the one I chose) that I saw, I feel it could be expanded upon, see some scenes from the aftermath regarding other races based on what the player chose throughout all three games. But that’s my only ‘gripe’. I wouldn’t have them change the ending, I would have them add on to it.

Seems they know each other quite well, doesn’t it?

French fact: the pronouns “Tu” and “Vous” can both be used to refer to a person in the singular (vous is second person plural, usually). ‘Tu’ is used with people with whom you are familiar with, or friends. ‘Vous’ is used (in the singular) to maintain a distance between yourself and the subject. Notice how Jacques is using ‘tu’ with this lady, but he uses ‘vous’ when talking to Alistair?
I use ‘vous’ a lot, even with people I know. I think I’m subconsciously maintaining a distance between myself and others. But I only took one psych course, so what do I know?

Been playing Mass Effect 3. Been really enjoying it so far. No, I haven’t finished it and no, I don’t care that you didn’t like the ending. I will not allow your opinion to taint my enjoyment of the game.

I’ve tried the multiplayer and, surprisingly, I’ve enjoyed it. Granted, my experience with multiplayer games is limited to several hours of Halo 3 (at least, I think it was 3), a few rounds of Marvel vs Capcom 3 online and multiple tournament fighters (not online) and Mario Kart. It’s been enjoyable.
